045: Is Tithing Biblical?

Every church has a "tithes and offering" portion in their worship service, and it seems like pastors are always talking about "giving your money back to God in the form of a tithe" . . .  but have you ever stopped and asked the question, "Is tithing even Biblical?"
In today's episode of RTC, Marc and Fuller discuss this topic from both a Biblical and practical viewpoint, and at the end of this episode, they each share their opinions on if a Christian should or should not tithe. They even get into the question of "Should a Christian give to their local church?"

044: What does it mean to "find your identity in Christ?"

"Finding you identity in Christ" is a Christianese phrase that is tossed around all the time. What does it actually mean and is this even something that we should strive for in our lives?
In today's episode of RTC, Marc & Fuller discuss this big idea and try to bring it down to everyday life. We look at the attributes of Jesus himself (because as Christians, Little Christs, we are supposed to emulate him) and looking at what it means for you once you become a follower of Jesus.

043: If You Could Ask God One Question

Questioning God. Is this something we are able to do? And if so, what should we be questioning God about? Also, is there a difference between asking God questions and question God? Growing up, many Christians were taught that when you question God, you are showing your lack of faith, but is this thought process correct?
On today's episode, Marc & Fuller answer questions like these and then give some tips on how to remain faithful to God in the times of silence. Towards the end of the discussion, they both get real with each other and answer the question for themselves: If you could ask God one question, what would you ask him?

042: Soul Mates & Finding "The One"

Is there such a thing as "finding your soul mate" or "finding the one." So many people believe that either God or the universe (if you're not Christian) has created one specific person for you to spend the rest of your life with; however, is that actually Biblical?
In this episode of RTC, Marc & Fuller discuss their views on "soul mates" and "the one" while also looking at what someone should even be looking for in a spouse. Arguably, figuring out who you're going to spend the rest of your life with is a very important decision, so we'd like to help you along in the process.

Why does gambling get such a bad rap in Christian circles? Isn't it the same as going to a basketball game or a concert? They are all entertainment after all, right?
Gambling has been called a "sin" by many Christians, but what does the Bible actually say on this topic? Does it even say anything at all? Today, Marc and Fuller sin down to answer this question as well as give some wisdom into this topic.

040: Peruvian Missionary Kid. Now a Fútbol Missionary with Joseph & Kimberly Frerichs

In South America, fútbol (soccer) is king. Everyone plays the game, loves the game, and idolizes the soccer local heroes. Some people started to wonder, "if people love soccer so much, can we use this is a bridge to tell people about Jesus?" This is exactly what Joseph and Kimberly Frerichs asked themselves, and they decided to do something about it.
In this episode of RTC, Marc and Fuller sit down with Joseph Frerichs to talk about his journey. He is a third generation missionary to Peru, which means he grew up in the country and is a native. He has been playing soccer competitively in Peru since he was a kid, but left Peru and professional soccer to study ministry here in the states. Now, it's time to head back.
We talk with Joseph about what is was like as a missionary kid, what it takes to get back on the field, what kingdom successes he has seen since starting his mission work, and what it means for his family to uproot their American lives to head back to Peru. At the end of the interview, Kimberly joins us and shares her heart, too! We know you're going to love this conversation.

039: Single Foster/Adoptive Mom of Five Kids, featuring Beth Schneider of @schneiderladies

Single and in her mid 20s, Beth Schneider decided to follow God's leading and open her home and heart to foster care. Little did she know that just a handful of years later, she would adopt five girls out of the foster care system!
In this episode of RTC, Marc and Fuller interview Beth Schneider of @schneiderladies to talk with Beth about her journey into foster care and ultimately becoming a single adoptive mom (which apparently was not the plan). We ask Beth why she got into fostering, what "highs" and "lows" has she experienced while being a single mom, and what word of encouragement would she give to someone wanting to step out into fostering. 038: Can One Love Without God?

Most Christians know the verse, "We love because God first loved us" (1 John 4:19), but here's a Christian maybe you haven't thought about: If someone doesn't follow Jesus and isn't a Christian, can they love at all? In today's conversation, Marc and Fuller set out to answer this question while answering many other questions about love. In this conversation, they also touch on common grace given to all mankind, while asking if this enough for people to understand, know, and show love in it's purest form.
