Real Talk Christian Podcast started as a local church teaching ministry to provide biblical answers to the world that Christians find themselves in, but the podcast quickly grew to global ministry. Here, you’ll find conversations around theological topics, practical living, and stories from Christians who are striving to have real conversations around both everyday and difficult conversations. Each episode is designed to feel like you’re sitting down with two of your favorite friends. Generally, the first 15-20 minutes of each show is full of laughs, banter, and fun conversations before jumping into the episode’s content. This is designed to help you feel connected with the hosts, bring joy to your life, and provide great answers to your questions.

The dictionary defines "euthanasia" as the painless killing of a patient suffering from an incurable and painful disease or in an irreversible coma. Although the practice is illegal in most countries, the desire for its legalization is increasingly growing and many countries have started legalizing the practice. In America, a doctor's choice and decision of euthanasia is illegal; however, voluntary euthanasia is legal in Oregon and Washington and will soon be legal in other states as well. How should Christians think about this subject?
In this conversation, Marc and Fuller dive deeper in their conversations about the Imago Dei (being made in the Image of God) and how having a proper framework and worldview is essential when having this conversation with anyone, including our own loved ones who are struggling with painful or incurable diseases.

In Genesis, we read that on the seventh day of creation, God rested (this is where we get the Sabbath). Later on in history, when God gave Moses the 10 Commandments, one of those commandments was to remember the Sabbath Day and to keep it holy. In following that command, the Hebrew people understand the last day of the week (Saturday) to be the Sabbath Day, but when Jesus started his Church, his followers quickly moved their holy day to Sunday, which is why so many churches gather for corporate worship on Sunday...but not all denominations worship on Sundays, though. So, what should we do? And more than that, are Christians required to keep the Sabbath Day anyways?
In this episode of RTC, Marc and Fuller discuss the Sabbath Day. They talk about what the Sabbath Day entails, why it's important, if Christians need to follow the Sabbath command, and if so, what day should the Sabbath be respected?

Maybe you've found yourself in a place where you are a lone Christian in the midst of atheist and skeptics and have to defend your belief in God, or maybe you've found yourself in a place where you yourself are being wonder "is there really a God?" This question — Is there a God? — has been asked for about as long as humans have existed, yet for some reason, the question doesn't seem to be answered in a way that satisfies the questioners.

Christians have been known as primarily "pro-life" when it comes to the abortion conversation but with the recent decision in Texas to not allow abortions after a detectable heartbeat, the conversation around abortion is taking center stage once again – both in news outlets and social media. In the wake of the decision, many people (both Christians and unbelievers) have not held back their opinions on the matter; which leaves the world asking "are Christians too obsessed with this conversation around abortion?"
In this episode of RTC, Marc and Fuller talk about why Christians are obsessed with abortion, discuss if Christians are maybe a little too obsessed, and ask the question "is there ever an abortion that acceptable for Christians?" Although this is a sensitive subject, it's a conversation that Christians cannot be scared to talk about. With using both the Bible and reasoning is used in this conversation, you will be sure to both learn and enjoy this episode.

Sin is not good. As a rule of thumb, this statement is agreed upon in Christian circles, but here's a question that many wrestle with– are some sins worse than others? Based on what tradition you come from, you may answer this question differently. In the Catholic tradition, there are different types of sins (venial and mortals sins) and each sin has a different level of punishment. In the Protestant tradition, most people believe that sin is sin and God sees all sin the same. So, are there worse sins that others?
In this episode of RTC, Marc and Fuller look at both the Bible and church history to figure out if there sins that are worse than others and if there are, what that means for us as Christians.

Fasting is a way of worship that is widely practiced in some expressions of Christianity, but in many others, fasting is rarely talked about. It's no shock, though, to see that the Bible talks about fasting in both the Old Testament and the New Testament, so why is there a divide between different denominations and fasting?

Every child deserves a family to love and cherish them. Paraguay has approximately one thousand children in the care system, and only 5% of them are in family-based care. The vast majority of those children would thrive in foster care, and it is Little Neighbors' desire to see the local churches of Paraguay respond as we raise awareness and train a wave of safe, loving families.
This week on RTC, Marc and Fuller sit down with Brian & Jackie McCobb, the directors of Little Neighbors, to talk about their mission to both help orphaned kids find loving homes and help the government create laws and policies to help set these kids up for success in life. This conversation will surely help you understand the heart of Jesus while also understanding the heart of Little Neighbors.
